| Roosevelt Vision A New York 1992 |
ROOSEVELT ISLAND - NEW YORK Roosevelt Island, formerly known as Welfare Island (from 1921 to 1973), is a narrow island in the East River of New York City. It lies between the island of Manhattan to its west and the borough of Queens to its east. Running from Manhattan's East 46th to East 85th streets, it is about two miles long, with a maximum
width of 800 feet, and a total area of 147 acres. The island is part of the Borough of Manhattan and New York County. Together
with Mill Rock Island, Roosevelt Island constitutes New York County's Census Tract 238, which has a land area of 0.279 sq miles. The Island is one of the most unique sites in New York City
simply because of its location and relationship to Queens Borough Bridge. As part of the proposed design concept, a recognition
of both footings of the bridge along with most southern angle of the island, a triangular formation of spaces evolved based
on visual ambiguity of motion and particularly from both Queens and Manhattan Waterfronts. Presently, New York City has selected Roosevelt
Island as the recipient of a Peace Memorial and based on a design completed earlier by Louis Kahn.

TALIACOSO - ITALY Situated near Rome, the City of Taliacoso elected to pursue an international competition in 1989
for ideas and concpets leading to full development of three potential sites within the its city fabric. The concept
arranges comprehensive combination of Retail, Residential along with both an outdoor and indoor theaters with simultaneously
activities based on a collective distribution of function and space. The
L Shape concpet enabled generation and implementation of active and passive angles along with visual distribution of
functions and spaces both vertically and horizontally.

| Times Square New York 1988 |
TIMES SQUARE - NEW YORK Times Square is a major intersection
in Manhattan, a borough of New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The Times Square area consists of the blocks between Sixth and Eighth Avenues from east to west, and West 40th and West 53rd Streets from south to north, making up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan. Formerly named Longacre Square, Times Square was renamed after the Times Building (now One Times Square) in April 1904. Times Square, sometimes known as the "Crossroads of the World,"
has achieved the status of an iconic world landmark and has become a symbol of New York City. Times Square is principally
defined by its spectaculars, animated, digital advertisements. The concept for Times Square involves complete development of Sky Bridges linking all major
buildings on site through their elevator cores and lobbies and making the experience of Times Square an elevated vertical
experience. The sights and sounds of Times Square would inhibit the senses of its visitors making it a well deserved
experience both in a visual and spacial manner and a clear testimony of the might and will of this this unique city. The sights and sounds of Times Square are very kinetic. Never
one time did I ever feel the same experience walking through the Grand Canyon of Steel and Concrete. Times Square is
in many ways a reflection of New York as it represents both the sexy and beautiful of Manhattan. It is also one of the
most commercial productive cross sections of the United States.

DOWNTOWN BEIRUT - LEBANON Beirut is Located
on a peninsula at the midpoint of Lebanon's coastline
with the Mediterranean sea, it serves as the country's
largest and main seaport and also forms the Beirut Metropolitan Area, which consists of the city and its suburbs. The first
mention of this metropolis dates to the 15th century BC as the city has been continuously
inhabited since. Our concept is reflective of the Spirit and Vision
of a Middle Eastern Bazaar that inhibits the senses and feelings of its visitors. Downtown Beirut was destructed and
rebuild through the ages but one thing that remained intact is the spirit of the people of Lebanon and their unbinding love
of their capital. A series of Spaces and Fuctions are integrated through a linear distribution of Light and
Geometry. The Delinantion of Curves reflects the motion and vibrancy of Beirut whereas the straight linear
path reflects the foundation of a new social fabric less effected by the past and yearns for meaningful future.
